Plein air drawings
For the Plein airs I learned that you have to use the angle tool, lighting, and perspective. You have to use the atmosphere perspective also to draw your landscape to make it accurate. Plein air is based off of real life/ nature so you have to use real things in real time. The struggles I had was drawing the objects outside and making it look accurate and shading. I also struggled with timing while i was working. I got up early to catch some lighting while drawing. Overall the project wasn’t bad it’s calming and something to do while you’re bored. Nature inspired me to do this projects because that’s what it was based off of. My Plein air is really my neighbors house and my backyard where’s there’s grass, trees, and stairs. While the other pictures are like the front of their house and the side of their house from my perspective. It was successful and I finished on time. I started with the background then the foreground then front.
Career drawing
In this project I learned that the medical field has a drawing field too. I learned they draw the organs and stuff like that. I used color, line, variety, shape, value.... etc My drawing is a stethoscope mixed or displayed as a heartbeat with the heart shape in it and a needle. It shows I want to be in the medical field which department is unknown but I know I wanna be in the medical field. It also has blood dripping from the needle. I started off drawing the stethoscope then the line heartbeat, last part of the stethoscope and the needle on top of the heart and the blood drops. The medical field inspired me because that’s what it was gassed off of. Yes it was successful. In this drawing it was simple so I didn’t really struggle with anything in this project it was very much straightforward. Yes I enjoyed it because it was quick and. Simple
What I learned about doing this is shapes are important. While drawing myself in order to make a pretty accurate replica. I had to make the right proportions, angling, lightning, and shading is a big part of that. In order to get the expression you have to proportion everything right the eyes, the features ... etc. When shading I had to pay attention to lighting. I also had to use my imagination and memory a little with the background to remember how it looked. The hardest thing about this project was getting it to look accurate, The bushes did take a while to draw also. It also to draw and get an accurate shape of my head too other than that it’s an okay project I’m not a fan of portraits so I stepped out of my comfort zone. My portrait expressing was me thinking. I was actually on my porch when I took it. I also tried to replicate the texture of my hair also. Overall this is my favorite portrait of me its a lot better than the one I did in MS Camartas class when I first started. I started off drawing my head, then my body, then the background. I enjoyed the project art just takes time.
Watercolor Project
I learned about waterpaint and the different watercolor techniques. I learned about the wet wet, scratch, Flat wash, dry wash, graduated wash, splatter, masking. I learned that the light colors go in the foreground. I learned that the dark colors should go in the background. The warm colors should go in the middle ground. I learned that object in the background should appear smaller and some cases. I learned that the value of the objects matter the temperature of the watercolor fits the theme and the size is accurate.
Line Art Project
The goal of this project was to make an art project made with lines and combine it into a masterpiece.
The process I used is Line Drawing.
The materials I used is drawing paper and pencils.
My inspiration for this project was balance and calm which is why there's rain and a long DNA violin on the left side.
My success was coming up with a creative different art piece. My struggle was filling up the space so it appreared balance

Color Wheel Project
Doing the color wheel I learned the order of color wheel. I learned about Warm colors, cool colors, and intermediate colors. I learned about primary colors and the gray scale. I learned about mixing colors to get new colors also and how the color wheel; correspomds with it. The art was a big cirlcle with seperate colors from cool to warm. The process i drew a circle and different swatches (3) and i painted started on the top down to the bottom from darker to lighter while pushing and pulling the brush to the center of the circle and each swatch, Nothing inspired me to do this project honestly, I did the assignment and I enjoyed it for the most part. It was successful for the most part I messed up on the top oif the yellow swatch. I did struggle a little with the colors and I also struggled with finding the right colors to mix to get a new color as well as with the palettes of paint by mixing the whole palette instead of making a new one. I did enjoy it though better than the last project it was easier than watercolor and also it looks better.
Narrative Project
I learned that being an artist expresses your feelings but it also can just describe a personal or general message. I learned about mixingtext and imagery to tell a story. My visual narrative is a general common topic of abuse which happens alot and the emotion behind them. In my paining I drew a woman thats being verbally abused and the words in her head are the damage that has been done to her. The man uin the background is the person supressing her feeling and telling her stuff to brainwash her. The halo represents how innocent she is butheontinues to hurt her and she continues to stay. This project was easy because it was already drawn in my sketchbook i just had to transfer it to a bigger paper and combine mixed media. The hardest part was painting because it ws time consuming and we didn't have enough time.
